Today was a pretty good day i unexpectedly ended up watching Despicable Me 2 in 3D with my sister in law a day before the actual day it was suppose to come out. And the weather was amazing! i know for July it should be pretty hot but Chicago weather is crazy, so we had an i think 70's day, which is my favorite! I don't have to worry about my make up melting off and i can wear a light sweater and jeans. This is what my make up looks like. Some of the products used are not shown because my son started getting fussy so i hurried with the last part of my make up. =) I hope you guys like the look and the tips.

| Everyone should start by applying a good moisturizer and lip balm so your make up application is flawless and smooth. and it also prevents your makeup getting in your pores as much since you have a barrier between your foundation and your skin. |
| This is the concealer i am using at the moment and i am loving it! so easy and smooth to apply. i like that its a thinner consistency that others and you can really work and build the coverage. i use this mainly to conceal dark circles and red spots around my nose. I pat it in with my fingers so it warms the concealer and blends seamlessly. (i use a brightening one later |
| Next i do my brows. I do them before my foundation because no matter how long I've been doing my brows i know i'll mess them up and i'll need to dab product away with my finger and i don't want to mess up my foundation. i also used a spool brush to comb out and blend the brow pencil. i also used a lighter shade by Jordana (not pictured) |
| Now foundation. i used my flat top brush from Sigma. I use very little product since it is a thick cream foundation and i don't want it to get stuck in my brush. you have to be very careful with products like this because when you apply a dab it feels super smooth but you can also make the mistake of applying way too much and the result of trying to blend away excess product is not cute. I use a very small amount dab it everywhere i can with the brush then blend using a swirl motion all over my face, neck, and ears. if i need more then i make sure to add small amount to areas that need it. but if you do need more coverage in some areas you can just go back with a concealer and that should do the trick. |

| For my eyes i like to do simple looks for summer. i used my neutral pallet from BH cosmetics it's super affordable and the colors are great. #1 is on my lid. #2 is in my outer 1/3 and outer crease. #3 is a matte white and i used it as a highlight/ blending color so the colors wouldn't looks too harsh. and then i just took the black shadow and put it as if it was liquid liner with an angled brush really close to the lash line, so my eyes would stay soft, and i do have a white pencil in the waterline. it helps open and brighten your eyes. |
| the top is one coat of mascara i used the new L'Oreal telescopic shocking. the non waterproof and honestly i hated it at first then i put it away for like a week and a 1/2 . and i said i cant just throw it out, so i gave it another chance and it was amazing so i always say with mascaras sometimes they need to dry out a bit to work and the camera does it no justice! i did one coat for a subtle look, but you can layer this quite a bit before it gets clumpy and it'll look like you have false lashes on. 2-3 coats looks awesome! On the bottom i added some bronzer with Physicians formula bronze booster in light to med, and a bit of a contour with the balm's bahama mama. |
| Next lips! Revlon's Pink Pout enough said lol |
| Then i brighten my under eyes in a triangle motion, down the bridge of my nose, chin, cupid's bow, and forehead with Maybelline's dark spot eraser/concealer in light. then blend with your fingers,....and... |
